Welcome
Estill Child Development Center strives to not only provide children with quality care but to also give them access to a learning environment that fuels their overall development.
Estill Child Development Center (ECDC) was established after a great need for another child care center in Estill was identified. Twelve percent of Estill County's overall population is made up of children twelve years or younger, therefore, limited access to a child care center may place hardships on local families in regards to their own personal professional development, maintaining employment, or when they are just in need of appropriate care for their little ones. ECDC wants to try and eliminate those barriers for local families and not only give them access to quality child care but give them a center where they can be confident that their children are also being provided with an environment to accelerate their development and start building their educational foundation. ECDC also hopes to provide families with community resource linkages and information in order to assist them in ensuring that all their basic needs are being fulfilled.

ECDC offers infant care, toddler care, preschool, and after school programs. Each program is equipped with a great emphasis on the development of the children and providing them with the necessary skills and abilities to be successful as they grow.

Estill Child Development Center provides high quality, developmentally appropriate, and nurturing services that have a holistic child-focused view to encourage social, physical, emotional, and cognitive growth to children beginning at six weeks old until middle childhood.
Generate excitement
ECDC aims to provide children an environment where they become excited to learn and play! ECDC classrooms provide children with multiple centers to bring their imagination to life and engage in activities that correlate to Kentucky's Standards of Learning.
Work together
ECDC recognizes that communication between the parents/guardians and teachers are crucial in a child's success in learning and overall development. ECDC will provide parents/guardians access to a application that can be downloaded directly on their apple and/or android device so that they stay up to date on what is going on in their child's classroom. Features include access to daily logs, lesson plans, evaluations, online payments, and a messaging center to check in, report information, and/or ask any questions they may have.
